Join us for the Over-the-Rhine holiday event of the season!
If you have a street level storefront or a residential window facing any street in OTR;
You are eligible to compete in the otr AGLOW display competition!
Kick Off: Final Friday- November 30th
December 1-7, between 5:30-10:00pm participants will set the windows of otr AGLOW with creative displays. Originality is rewarded, but all entries must include three things:
- A non-flammable light source;
- A holiday theme;
- Celebrate OTR, its history, or traditions.
Official Judging will take place December 1-7, with a celebration and awards party on Saturday, December 8th.
otr AGLOW will also host contests throughout the week on Facebook, Instagram and on our site.
Fabulous prizes and awards will be given in several categories and trophies will be awarded for Best Street Level Business, Nonprofit, and Resident.
This neighborhood celebration is being presented by the Over-the-Rhine Foundation, Urban Sites, and the Over-the-Rhine Chamber of Commerce.

If we have an apartment on the 3rd story can we participate, or is it only ground level ones?
All apartments facing the street are eligible!
Is 13th Street eligible? There are plenty of storefronts & it does connect all the other streets. It’s also the most pedestrian-used street in OTR. The OTR Chamber is on 13th Street.

What about 14th and also Elm?
What about Jackson Street? That would help the Know Theatre, Art Academy, ArtsWave, and ArtWorks join in. Thanks!
Great comment, Alex. We are going to open up the eligibility to ANY ground level business in Over-the-Rhine. As long as the business enters the competition on time, and exists in the confines of OTR; they are eligible for judging. Happy decorating!
